Increased catalyst lifetime by patented CATALYCOM technology
The mixed metal oxide catalysts developed by Catalycom
represent a new alternative for the emission control of the
volatile organic compounds (VOC) and hazardous air pollutants
(HAP) in your waste air. The catalytic combustion with our
catalyst enables the cost effective and economical method of
purification of waste air. Generally catalytic combustion
enables the conversion of the strong green house gases VOC’s
and HAP’s are to the weaker carbon dioxide
Operation temperatures of our catalysts begin at 300 °C (~500 °F). Depending on process conditions and VOC’s present operation temperatures up to 850 °C (~ 1380 °F) are feasible.
The catalytic activity of the mixed metal oxide catalyst is based on the adsorption and desorption of the VOC’s and HAP’s onto the surface of the catalyst crystals. Here the noxious gases were flamelessly burned to carbon dioxide and water.
The oxide structure of our catalysts allows for an enhanced lifetime and temperature capability.
Waiving of precious metals as catalytic material results in lower costs and careful use of resources.
